NEW WORK

Hi All, I've been quietly busy, working away on some new designs. Mainly for my agent, which is all top-secret, but there is a few things I'd like to share with you that I have created over the last 3 weeks or so:

Kleenex Competition

Voting starts MAY 1st, and any votes would be greatly appreciated.

These were for the 'sock-it-to-me' competition. I realise I shared the sock versions with you, but they look so much prettier in pattern, don't you agree?

Currently an entry in this weeks (April 2013) 'sailing' competition. The colours were restricted but I think they work well for a children's print

And Finally, these were created for a Tigerprint Competition. I love the colour palette for this collection.

Hope you have enjoyed the eye candy for today.

Thanks for visiting.

Sock-it-to-me Competition Feature Special

Peek-a-boo.

How have you all been?

Today I intend to share a little bit of creative awesomeness in the shape of a SOCK.

Well several socks actually.

Every year a fab company called 'Sock it to me' hold a competition to design a pair of socks. This is such a novel and fun idea. Not only does it allow us to expand our portfolio's and potentially win a prize, but it allows us to have some FUN with designing.

Novelty socks make the world go around after all.

I created 2 designs, with the intention of creating 3 more, but never did get around to it. But I love what I created and submitted regardless. Quite a few of my fellow ABSPD ladies entered also, as well as lots of my Twitter tribe, so I decided to do a call out to share some of the amazing designs that have been entered.

Feast your eyes on some awesome socki-ness.

Iconemesis - Competition Results

So here we are....

Another competition has ended, and the results are in. It was such a difficult competition to enter, a lot of my *ABSPD ladies also entered, and its never easy to be in 'competition' with your designer friends. I'm lucky that it never gets ugly with regards to competitiveness, because they're all just too damn lovely,  encouraging and supportive.

Thank you Ladies. You are all amazing.

So here, are the winning entries:

Now...

As you can see, my Pretty Paradise design is right there on the left.

Amazing right?
Happy dance.

but thats not all.....

Dahlia Dream is my fellow *ABSPD friend Anneline's design, and Fake Knit, is the amazing Onneke's design, also a *ABSPD Friend.

Unbelievable right?

I'm super proud of us all. Because as a result we are all now licensing these designs to the wonderful Iconemesis, to be sold on iPhone 5 cases, which are manufactured in the UK and of excellent quality. Find out more about Iconemesis HERE!

Lastly, best of Luck to all those who entered the Front Row Society Leggings competition.

We can clean sweep once again.

Tigerprint - Hand drawn Type

Another day, another competition to enter.

This week I've done my very very best to stick to the brief, which contains two of my weakest points design wise.

Hand-drawn.....

and Type....

I don't do these well....

I can't help it...

but here it goes:

All hand drawn...

using a good old pen and paper.....

I know, I know...

I'm impressed too.

Not bad.

Until Next Time.
